When to Disconnect: Unplug from Bad Connections

Do you remember the last show you watched on television? The last magazine you flipped through? The last site you clicked on the Internet?

The world today is filled with temptations that urge you to compromise your godly values. From the shows you watch on television, to the magazines you read, to the sites you visit on the Internet, all are battling to sway your way of thinking.

If you’re filling your mind daily with unhealthy images, you can’t expect to live a life of holiness and obedience set apart to God. It’s just not possible

Maybe you’ve crossed the line from flirting with compromise to jumping headlong into some ungodly activity. If so, please know that Satan is both cunning and powerful—and if he can get you to give up what is important to you, he can send you down a dark road that could cost you dearly. Don’t fall for it. Don’t give in. Don’t compromise your faith.

Obey God, trust Him, and allow Him to mold your life so that all you do—and see—reflects His love, goodness, holiness, and truth to others

“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you” (Philippians 4:8-9, NASB).
