Lately in America, there has been a lot of buzz over young Americans who were raised Christian not being in church any more. Once they leave home, many Americans aged 18-20+ don't keep attending church like they did when they were at home.
I'm not going to say that there is one final and absolute reason for this trend - indeed, I'm almost certain that a percentage of young Americans no longer in church have probably lost faith, or have turned their backs on Christ, which is a tragedy t…

To My Fellow Saints,
Its been a long time since I have done one of these, but I believe in my heart that God wants me to start again b/c not only does it encourages others but also my own soul and feeds my hunger for His Word and satiates my soul with the thirst and desire for Him. His Word opens our eyes and directs our hearts towards His eternal truth. May the Word Of God richly dwell within you all. I pray that all who read is truly encouraged and blessed by the Holy Word of God. I love you…

God of draught, of summer days;
Lord of harvest, swift increase;
Times of famine still provides
Manna that sustains and guides:
When the warmth inside our hearts
Nevermore the light imparts,
Lit us up that we might see
Gleaming joy we've found in Thee.
God in fall, of autumn leaves--
Hour of taking, Thou that gives,
Same that curses and will bless--
Times of wanting or excess:
Teach us to receive all things,
Whate'er morrow--it thus brings...
Lord of laughter, Friend in tears,
Let us reap the f…

*Please don't think i'm this dark minded in person, I just think i should take a risk and write about something i know alll too well. Tell me what you think, other than the fact that i need chocolate and icecream and of course Jesus*
As I entered my room
A strange smell met my senses
Sorrow bore a cape of violet and surrounded me with memories.
The memory of pain,

If I was a poet, I'd write for hours at a time
Making sculptures out of my notes, all the time.
A timeline of inquisition and persecution of my intuitiveness
In order to come to a realization
Aura release and expand my vision-quest, of starvation and personal realization.
Of my inner hallucinogenic journey of the body, mind, and spirit I am unleashed upon this world.
I am moving at a speed that revolves f

The road is lost, and i cant find another path to get me home.
i am scared and my mind has waged war against my soul.
the temptation to give up has grown stronger, it holds onto me by my throat.
the longer it weighs me down, the darker my world becomes.

Here is something that someone shared with me on singleness. I really liked it and think you will too!
Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone; to have a deep
soul relationship with another, to be loved thoroughly and exclusively.
But God to the Christian says, "No, not until you're satisfied and
fulfilled and content with living, loved by me alone and giving
yourself totally and unreservedly to Me, to have an intensely personal
and unique relationship with Me al…

What On Earth Should I Be Doing?
Today we learned the 5 things God wants us to do to understand what our purpose is in life.
1. God wants us to Learn to Love Him --- or to Worship Him. In Matthew 22:37 - 38 (NIV) it reads, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."
I love this verse because it teaches us to put Him first in ALL that we do. And to love Him passionately (with our heart), love Him person…

What does the love of God look like to you? Oftentimes I believe we have to see ourselves at our worst to clearly understand God at His best. It's easy for me to think that I'm really not "that bad" of a person, and that my sins aren't that big of a deal to God. When I feel pretty solid in my walk with God, I can unknowingly let my guard down as sin lurks on the edges of my life, waiting to creep in. The proverbial saying "Pride goes before the fall" is never truer than in times like

We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that law
is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the
ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill
their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

God hides everything in something..
HE hides a tree in a seed.
HE hides a king in a shepherd boy.
HE hides a Savior in a Baby.
Aren't you excited to know what He's hiding in you?
Be prepared for the big blessings that GOD will provide you in the coming days.
Remember that all giant trees were once a tiny seed.
You may be just a "TINY SEED" now....

I'm in need of your opinion about this poem I wrote. I would like to
know which lines of the poem really touch your heart in a spiritual
way. As well as which parts of this poem could potentially be better or
fixed. It would be awesome if you could give me some insight... Also Let me know if you can relate to this in your personal life, when was the last time you felt the Lord touch you, or give you a peace about something.
