How did you get connected with GROUNDED?

Tell us about yourself:

I'm just trying to reconnect with God actually. It's been years since I've been to church or put my trust completely in him, but after years of being disappointed by those around me and being heartbroken, I'm ready to free myself from my cages and just love life again. I'm a college student and a dreamer of sorts.

At 11:32am on March 17, 2010, mike welch said…: Hey Deserae. Your life story sounds close to my story. I just got reconnected with God like 6 months ago. It was right before I started college. I realized that I wasn't really living for God. I was lukewarm when I should either on fire for God or cold. I did some research to find out if I believe that God is real or not. I found lots of facts supporting God. Thank God I decided to follow him. Since then God has been working a lot in my life. Make sure to keep reading your Bible everyday and pray that God will change your heart to be more like him. PS I have a lot of very close people disappoint me too lately. But it helps me realize you can't count on people, the only one who you can count on is God.
