My health is recovering i went to the doctor today and she said I do not have any form of arthritus that wasn't the case a month ago and my faith is improving. I also found out my muscle pains are reducing somewhat. Thank you all for the prayers i am active in my churches young adults group and on sundays. I pray I will find a weekday bible study to go to and that I can remain chaste and free of sin

have i got a testimony!

for about a week, i've had the flu, and just yesterday, i felt a lump on the left side of my throat (my left) when i woke up. i checked in the mirror, and it was visible, and immediately i thought, "CANCER!"

the direction i'm taking here is how awesome God is and that faith really does work (as if no one here knew already).

i started praying about it right away, very calm, cool, and collected, telling God (really, it was myself) that He sent His Son to not only die for me, but heal me as well, and that i pray that my illness goes away altogether (i wasn't that concerned about having the flu, but the lump really kinda set me off).

throughout the day, the thought of it actually being some sorta cancer kept coming to mind, but the lesson to be learned here is to take those thoughts captive, those thoughts that can shake your faith, and give it to the Lord.

today, the lump's gone, and so's the flu! :D... i dunno if it was actually some sorta cancer, but whatever it was, it's gone, and so's the flu. my throat's a little raspy, and i have a little cold, but i'm well enough to leave the house, and i don't feel gross or immobilized. :D

HELLO BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!! Nice to see a lot of Christian friends around here! Please help me be connected to other friends there in your country. I look forward to working with you, I'm from the Philippines and actively involved in a newly established Youth Organization here in San Fabian, Pangasinan. Me and my Pastor would like to open this to everyone who has the heart of volunteerism. The purpose of this group is very simple, and that is to actualize the timeless creed which is "PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS QUICKLY, CLEARLY AND IRRESISTIBLY." There's always more to do, and that's why we need a teamwork that works for everyone. For more details, please feel free to contact me at +63921-411-4162 or add me up at davep8888@yahoo.com so that we can chat through yahoo messenger. Godbless you and your family!!!

Im new to this site and ive got a crazy story to tell that i just cant keep to myself.
June 14th 2008: i was coming home from a concert in detroit, the entire trip had went well up until i was on the home stretch. I was probably 5 minutes away from my house when i came around a small turn and unknown to me the guy on the other side of the road had fallen asleep and was starting to cross over the double yellow line. I realized he crossed over about 2 seconds before we collided. I was in a 01 ford escort and he was in a 2000 dodge neon so needless to say it was pop can vs pop can. We were both doing about 55 when we hit and totaled doesnt begin to describe what happened to those cars.

The gas pedal was in the speedometer, yet somehow my foot didnt get stuck up in the car. Also the engine should have been in my lap, thank god neither was the case. I managed to get myself up on the window but then i realized that i could not feel my feet, which is not a good thing, not even a little. So i was sat up on the window of my mangled car watching in horror as the other car caught fire and put me in even more danger.....then something amazing happened. My grandmother, who died back in 2004, came to the car and helped me to the ground and pulled me to the back of the car, my brother was in the car too and she helped him out of the car as well. Now at this point and time i was a non-believer, so needless to say this completely blew my mind. My right heel shattered and had to have a major reconstructive surgery (14 screws and a steel plate) and there was no guarantee that this was going to work. There was a very good chance that i would never walk again, or at the very least i would walk very painfully with a cane. Part way through my recovery i visited my family in south carolina and my grandpa started talking to me about what happened, especially with grandma. He got me to open up my mind and embrace gods word and he lead me along my path all the way up to my eventual salvation.

Im thrilled to say that i am now walking very well and without much pain and my stamina is getting better and better. I cant do alot of things i used to like to do, but i can still play my drums and that makes me thrilled. I have overcome a battle with drugs and am currently working on getting out of my current living conditions so i can get on with my life in a godly enviornment and i can truly start learning how to live a godly life.

(inside joke... i hope i didnt take that too far *rolls eyes*... actually, i hope he even remembers what i'm talking about! :|... meh)
