@ Abigail:

I had (and sometimes still think I have) the same confused feeling. But God is faithful, when I graduated two yrs ago, He opened up an opportunity for me that I know could only be from Him.
So in this "in-between" time, just keep praying to and trusting in Him to direct your path. Wait on Him because even though you don't, He knows what's best for you ;)

Quite a number of graduates find it pretty difficult to stay with God's will for their lifes, all they wanna do is become successful at the expense of their relationship with God. The question is how do you stay focus on God's will?

I graduated from college on June 25th 2009 (the very same day Michael Jackson died as well as 4 of my favourite pets). I didn't know where to go or even what I was interested in doing. All the subject and qualifications I had seemed insignificant for me. However, instead of wasting time I decided to do some courses to keep me on track or in tune with life so that I would not lose what i learned. but the indecision still remains and life now seems like a greater challenge. I feel confused & lost in a competitive professional world. It seems as though most ppl I graduated with seem to know what they're doing, but I question whether they'll truly enjoy their chosen career.

Please comment or make a suggestion, Thank you.

I graduated college May 6 (praise God!), but now anxiety has set in. I had everything planned when I was in college -- class schedules, study times, work schedule, etc. and now I feel I have this vast amount of nothingness in front of me and it's all so very confusing and frightening.

Hello all I am going to graduate from college in a year and two months with my bachelor's degree in nursing and it just seems like a frightening thing. So much uncertainity as far as where do I work, live and so forth. Any advice?

A New Year Prayer

Holy Father,

God of our yesterdays, our today, and our tomorrows.

We praise You for Your unequaled greatness.

Thank You for the year behind us and for the year ahead.

Help us in Your new year, Father, to fret less and laugh more.

To teach our children to laugh by laughing with them.

To teach others to love by loving them.

Knowing, when Love came to the stable in Bethlehem, He came for us.

So that Love could be with us, and we could know You.

That we could share Love with others.

Help us, Father, to hear Your love song in every sunrise,

in the chriping of sparrows in our backyards,

in the stories of our old folks, and the fantasies of our children.

Help us to stop and listen to Your love songs,

so that we may know You better and better.

We rejoice in the world You loved into being.

Thank You for another new year and for new chances every day.

We pray for peace, for light, and for hope, that we might spread them to others.

Forgive us for falling short this past year.

We leave the irreparable past in your hands, and step out into the unknown new year knowing You will go with us.

We accept Your gift of a new year and we rejoice in what's ahead, depending on You to help us do exactly what You want..

I say it again, we rejoice!

In Jesus name,

Amen.

HELLO BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!! Nice to see a lot of Christian friends around here! Please help me be connected to other friends there in your country. I look forward to working with you, I'm from the Philippines and actively involved in a newly established Youth Organization here in San Fabian, Pangasinan. Me and my Pastor would like to open this to everyone who has the heart of volunteerism. The purpose of this group is very simple, and that is to actualize the timeless creed which is "PROCLAIMING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS QUICKLY, CLEARLY AND IRRESISTIBLY." There's always more to do, and that's why we need a teamwork that works for everyone. For more details, please feel free to contact me at +63921-411-4162 or add me up at davep8888@yahoo.com so that we can chat through yahoo messenger. Godbless you and your family!!!
