How do you know if you should get married?

I'm 22 years old and I've been in a relationship with someone for 6 years now. We have been engaged for almost two years now though. He is in the Navy and we haven't seen each other very much in the past year, but he will be back this May coming up. We both love each other very much, but our time away has made me question if I should even be getting married. We've been together since we were both 16 and I'm wondering If I will be making a mistake by getting married. I want to follow my heart, but I can't tell what it's trying to say. Does anyone have any advice for me?? I would really appreciate any input, especiallly if you've been in a similar situation.

When I asked myself the questions you wrote most of them were positive answers. The only question that was not positive is the fact that I have NOT heard directly from God that I should get married.
